The deal
By using thecodingcabanagamejam.com (the "site"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
The site & our content
The site's content — including the Coding Cabana name, logo, artwork, and written material — belongs to The Coding Cabana. You're welcome to view and share it for personal, non-commercial purposes; please don't copy or reuse our branding or assets without permission.
Jams
Participation in our game jams is governed by the universal rules plus any round rules published on the relevant jam page. Jam submissions are hosted on itch.io and are also subject to itch.io's own terms. Breaking the rules can result in disqualification at the organizers' discretion.
Your games
You own the games you make. By entering a jam, you give us permission to display, link to, embed, stream, and promote your entry — always with credit to you. Everything else stays yours, as described in the rules.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to disrupt the site, manipulate jam voting, harass other participants, or use the site for anything unlawful.
Third-party services
The site links to services we don't control, such as Discord, itch.io, and Google. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep information accurate and the site online, but we can't promise either.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Coding Cabana is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or participation in a jam.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date, and continued use of the site means you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
